Creating Community Part 4
Creating Community Part 4
Acts 2: 44 (MSG)
“And all the believers lived in
a wonderful harmony,
holding everything in common.”
“Wonderful harmony”
means enjoying righteous relationships. Righteous means as intended,
functioning as designed. When relationships are good, life is good. There are
four key relationships we see from Genesis: humanity is created with a right
relationship with God, with Others, with the Earth, and through inference, with
Self. The gift of Christ empowers a reconciliation of relationship. Do you recall how Dumbledore the Dean of
Hogwarts always has something profound to say? Listen to the wisdom of another
old warrior:
Psalms 133:1 & John
13:35 (MSG)
“How wonderful, how
beautiful, when brothers and sisters get along!” “This is how everyone will
recognize that you are my disciples—when they see the love you have for each
other."
Love is treating
everyone with respect, seeking to meet their need often at the cost of a
personal sacrifice regardless of feeling. Wonderful harmony is traveling
together on the path of love.
