I want to live an authentic Christ-following life. Such a life is characterized by love. Love for God is expressed in our obedience to His commands. Love for others is expressed by seeking to meet their need as opportunity arises. Love for the earth is being a wise steward of all our material blessings. Love for self is partnering with the Holy Spirit in becoming the person God created you to be.

Church seems totally optional if not something to avoid altogether. But is Church optional?

He is also the President and CEO of City Mission Ministry helping the homeless and low-income families to rise above their present circumstances. Mike is the former director of the Los Angel’s Mission located in the heart of skid row where for 25 years he worked to help rehabilitate broken lives.
